TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TUTORING SERVICES

Effective date: 31.08.2026

1. General Provisions

Tutoring services are provided by Anna Sasorska ASTutorly, Genewska 7A/2 street, 03-963 Warsaw, NIP: 1133207835, REGON: 545288890, e-mail: office@astutorly.pl. ASTutorly offers Mathematics and Biology tutoring at A-Level and IGCSE level, both online and in person. The terms of cooperation, including the scope of lessons, dates, frequency and price, are agreed individually before lessons begin. Submitting the contact form does not constitute entering into a contract.

2. Organisation of Lessons

Online lessons are conducted via Google Meet, while in-person lessons take place at a location agreed individually with the Client. For online lessons, the Client is responsible for providing the student with a suitable device, microphone and internet access. Technical problems on the part of the student or Client that prevent a lesson from taking place do not automatically entitle the Client to a refund.

3. Prices and Payments

The price for lessons is agreed individually before the start of the cooperation. Services are billed monthly unless otherwise agreed by the parties. The invoice covers lessons that have been conducted as well as lessons deemed to have taken place in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed by the parties. Payments are made by bank transfer to the bank account specified on the invoice, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Lessons

A lesson may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge by providing at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time. Notice of cancellation or a request to reschedule a lesson must be provided by telephone, SMS or email using the contact details provided by ASTutorly. In the event of a late cancellation or the student’s absence, the lesson may be deemed to have taken place and may be charged in full. For online lessons, if the student does not attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and has not provided prior notice, this will be treated as an absence. If a lesson cannot take place due to circumstances attributable to the Tutor, the lesson will, where possible, be rescheduled for another date or the Client will not be charged for the lesson.

5. Ending the Cooperation and Right of Withdrawal

Either party may end regular cooperation at any time by informing the other party. The Client remains responsible for payment for lessons that have been conducted or deemed to have taken place in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If a contract has been concluded remotely with a consumer, the Client may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion. If the Client requests that the provision of services begin before the expiry of this period, the services may begin before the withdrawal period has expired, subject to the rules set out in applicable law.

6. Complaints

Complaints concerning the services provided may be submitted by email to office@astutorly.pl. A complaint should include a description of the issue and, where possible, information allowing the relevant service or lesson to be identified. Complaints are considered within 14 days. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits the Client’s rights under applicable law.

7. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the ASTutorly Privacy Policy available on the website.

8. Liability

The Tutor provides services with due care but does not guarantee that a student will achieve a particular grade, examination result or other specific outcome. Learning outcomes also depend on the student’s individual engagement and work. The Tutor is not responsible for technical problems resulting from the devices, software or internet connection of the Client or student.

9. Final Provisions

In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the laws applicable in Poland shall apply, in particular laws concerning consumer protection and the provision of services by electronic means. These Terms and Conditions are available on the ASTutorly website and may be updated in the event of changes to applicable law, the way in which services are provided or the technologies used. Changes to these Terms and Conditions shall not affect rights already acquired by Clients or the terms of contracts concluded before the changes take effect, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
